We all know the people who fill the descriptions below.
“Straight A’s…Fantastic!” “You won an award for most attractive…Cool?” “Ohhhhhhhh, Best Dressed!…Nice.” “Most likely to succeed!…Whoa!” “You got a scholarship!…You are on your way.” “You graduated first in your class…That is quite an accomplishment!” “What a singer!…Beautiful voice.” Blah, Blah, Blah.
You want my, post junior high, honest opinion…So What? You know what I say to that (lower case letters, smaller font and less excited) “great.”
It’s what you do with those gifts that makes you (upper case letters, larger font and waaaaay more excited) “GREAT!”
It’s how you apply your talents for the better good that makes you special. Not the accolades themselves! Not just brains alone!
APPLY WHAT YOU KNOW! If you don’t…Well, that’s just (lower case letters, even smaller, really tiny font, not ever going to hire you type excitement) “fine!”
