Im Your Ad Guy

What is HSOD?

Okay, I am making it official!  Every day is “HSOD”…or more formally named “Help Someone Out Day”.  Here is what the day is all about.  You must make an effort to do, at the very least, one good deed every single day with the intention of helping someone out.  This can be in the form of opening the door for someone, handing someone in need a dollar, smiling at someone who is a little blue, etc… No good deed is too small or too large.

But Phillip, I Have So Much To Do!

I know, I know…life get’s busy!  So, to remind yourself of HSOD or “Help Someone Out Day”, go into your phone and place a morning reminder.  Just put “Today Is HSOD”.  After a while you won’t need the reminder because the rush of helping others is so fulfilling.

Pass it along…today is HSOD!

ok. I accept your challenge. In our harried, busy daily lives there are many oft-overlooked opportunities for small gestures of kindness. Today, my eyes are open for those opportunities. Thanks for the inspiration and great post.

I agree, this should be done everyday. It shouldn’t be very hard if everyone treats each other the way that they would like to be treated.
