Im Your Ad Guy

For Your Viewing Pleasure!

What you see on ‘The Monitor’ in the future is ultimately up to you!  Your experience is continually being improved upon based on your suggestions.  We, as content providers, need your feedback when it comes to our product being served up in the most pleasing manner.  The goal of the Television Station, the Web Page and the Mobile provider is not to annoy you, but to make your experience more enjoyable.  So what does that mean for the future?  Here is where things are headed.

THE INTERNET EXPERIENCE

We have heard you loud and clear on the internet!  You don’t want the floating ads, page push downs and clutter when it comes to advertising around your content.  These types of approaches are fading away, BUT for your future approaches to be more enjoyable, you are going to have to give a little bit of something up…Your Privacy.  Companies have to make money, so if they are going to do it in a manner that is less annoying, they will need to know who you are.  Knowing who you are makes an advertisers life easier.  They will serve you Relevant content that is geared toward your wants and needs instead of just throwing everything at you humanly possible and hoping you will click on it.  (Sorry about the run on sentence, but it had to be done!)  I hear you…it’s 1984 (Big Brother) coming true!  Contrary to what most people believe, your information will not be used for evil.  You are already seeing this type of approach on Facebook.  Relevant will become more Prevalent in the future.  (I felt like Dr. Seuss there for a second)

THE TELEVISION EXPERIENCE

THE MOBILE DEVICE EXPERIENCE

See THE INTERNET EXPERIENCE above!

In the near future, you will have to ‘opt-in’ for all three of the viewing experiences above.  The approaches will use your ‘allowed’ information to be used to make your multi-media experience more enjoyable.  If you are uncomfortable with the notion of your information being used…(You finish this sentence. Only you can answer that.)

What can make your multi-media lifestyle better?  Your thoughts will eventually become reality!
