Im Your Ad Guy

I Gotta Hurry Up!

On my Journey To 4.0, I have been working on many things about myself.  My health is right where it needs to be at this point…I’m still pushing it to the next level.  My family life is in order…I’m still pushing it to the next level.  And my professional life is moving forward…I’m still pushing it to the next level.  But, now that those things are leveling off and I am continually reaching the milestones I set for myself, I am finding out that I am INCREDIBLY IMPATIENT now a days.

WHY?????

What is it about my life that makes me impatient?  I have a WONDERFUL, patient might I remind you, wife at home…great friends and an awesome family.  I don’t have anything like a clock attached to me that is counting down my demise.  So WHY have I been so impatient lately?  Let’s quickly look at this.  (Cue the bullet points)

  • Is it I am truly not where I want to be in life on a professional level?
  • Is it an unrealistic expectation of everything around me?
  • Is it genetics?

…And The Answer Is!

I have NO CLUE!  So, it looks like I have found my next line item on my list of things to work on.  PATIENCE.

Now, I better hurry up and get to work on being patient.  🙂

You are doing an amazing job! Yes, you just need a little patience for the rest. I think that part might be genetics. But, it’s the same gene that gives you so much drive! I guess you just need to find a balance, and you will have it all.

I feel the same way, and I’m not even related to you. haha Maybe its our creative soul that is driving us to crave something more. I know impatience for me, stems from not feeling in control at times. I love the journey along the way, however I want the destination to manifest sooner than it does sometimes.

You are a busy body as well. That’s why we get along…we can relate.
