I have placed a great deal of emphasis on my Journey To 4.0 in defining my own version of PERFECTION. This makes perfection attainable. But, I think some people have a hard time grasping this notion. We are trained to believe perfection is unattainable.
If “Defining Your Perfection” Is The Wrong Phrase…
…then define BETTER. What is a better life for you? What would provide a better life for your family and friends? What can you “better” to develop a happier you? This is really what it boils down to…your definition of better.
Make the effort to write it down, then aggressively pursue your definition of a BETTER life.
Just like there will never be a highest number, (just add 1), you can always improve on what you might consider perfection.
What annoys me is when you hear the claim that “I gave 110%” when you know they might have given maybe 50%.
When you say you gave 110%, that means you went over what you were willing to give, not going beyond your ability.
