A Fruitful Journey Or A Short Cut? It’s Your Choice.

Speaking generically, I think one of the problems that I have observed with our society lately is that we all expect things to happen quickly.  We want the quick buck, our dream title right out of college, a huge FIRST home etc… This way of thinking…this expectation is producing impatient individuals who…

1. Quit if they don’t get “it” quickly enough.
2. Don’t appreciate “it” if they do get it quickly.

I for one am proud to know that I have gotten to this point in my life through consistent and relentless pursuit.  22 years later, I have gained an enormous amount of knowledge from some very smart individuals.  I feel lucky.  But most of all I have enjoyed the journey to this point, bad and good!

There are no real short cuts.  Amstel’s commercial below says it best.  Watch and let me know what you think.
