Shew The “Little Devil” On Your Shoulder

Thursday afternoon, during a workout, my brain kept fighting me.  About every 2 to 3 minutes it tried to get me to stop in the middle of my workout and quit.  For some reason on this day…my brain was tired. 

I didn’t stop! 

But, I did come really close to quitting early several times.  What’s the point in telling you this?  There is always going to be that LITTLE DEVIL ON YOUR SHOULDER trying to tell you to take the easy way out.  In this case it was a lazy brain.

Don’t listen to “Little Devils”.  Fight through your workouts, your work projects and your milestones that will get you to your ideal life!  You will be glad you did.

    I’ve heard that little devil many times. As you get into the habit of ignoring him & press on to the finish, discipline comes and it will be easier next time.

      Bill, you are sooooo right on this one! Over time I have learned to ignore those negative thoughts and push through workouts, projects etc… It really does get easier. Thanks for reading and don’t hesitate to share. My goal is to empower and encourage others no matter what.
