So, I start making my way back to the normal days of eating healthier. (Thanksgiving is over) You know…no fried foods, less carbs, lean meat, veggies (i’m trying), fish and of course much less sugar. This approach has helped me on my Journey To 4.0 by getting back into the shape that I am comfortable with. Oops, I may have hit a roadblock.
I Thought I Was Strong
It seems that I have a weakness for Red Velvet cupcakes…Yep, those tasty, sweet, icing filled pieces of cryptonite. For normal people this is not a problem…they could have two bites and put the cupcake down. Not me, last night I ate an entire cupcake in about 60 seconds and with no hesitation or remorse. I have done this now on several occasions in the past couple of weeks. They are evil!
The Cupcake Slide
Now my Journey has a new hurdle…I must get off of the Cupcake Slide. Yes it has been fun, but you are holding me back. NO MORE! (I hope…I will keep everyone updated)
As much as you work out, you deserve to slide down the cupcake road of horrors. I am still eating pecan pie…….tis the season!
